Large Profile Stretcher Starter Kit

This kit contains 3 John Jones Large Section Stretchers with a depth of 3.2cm (1 1/4"). These stretchers are produced out of kiln dried tulipwood, a low-emission hardwood which is durable, strong and has a low tendency to split when nailed or stapled. Two stretchers are sized at 150 x 100 cm (with cross bars in both directions for extra support) and one stretcher is sized at 100 x 100 cm (with a single crossbar for support). The kit also comes with 2 metres of 12 oz unprimed cotton duck canvas fabric. This artist quality canvas has an even weave and a medium weight. At 270 cm / 108" wide, there is suffient fabric to cover these artwork stretchers, and the pack also comes with wedges to tighten the finished canvas if necessary.
