The John Jones readymade canvases are pre-stretched and ready to use immediately. This oil primed linen has a slight texture in the weave and is ideal for artists who require a subtle grain for their work, however it is intended for use with oil paint only. The canvas is pre-assembled with 2 crossbars for extra support, and has the option of being tightened with with wedges in the corners of the canvas. This product is prepared using our Large Section Stretcher Bars, which have a depth of 3.2cm (1 1/4"). All our readymade canvases can be ordered in either landscape or portrait orientation.
