John Jones frame artworks for The Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation Benefit Auction
15 October 2014
The second Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation ‘Arts for Human Rights’ Benefit Auction took place on 14th October at PHILLIPS Howick Place. The charity aimed to raise an estimated £500,000 through the Dior sponsored gala auction. With over £140,000 raised at silent auction by Paddle8 before the event they were well on their way to reaching their target.
Proceeds from the Benefit Auction will support the BJHRF campaign, ‘Violence against Women and Girls and the Culture of Impunity Must be Stopped,’ and help the survivors of sexual violence and torture. The funds will enable BJHRF to campaign in defence of human rights, civil liberties and environmental protection.
John Jones are proud to have sponsored and framed a selection of works by internationally esteemed artists such as Tracey Emin, Marina Abramovic and Marc Quinn for the BJHRF ‘Arts for Human Rights’ Benefit Auction to museum standards of preservation and presentation.
