The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award

The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award

Each year, the Mark Tanner Sculpture Award is held in remembrance of St. Martin’s graduate Mark Tanner, who in the 90's was one of the first artists to exhibit at the Hoxton based, innovative artist run project space, Standpoint Gallery. The Mark Tanner Sculpture Award is, amongst other things, offering £8,000 in financial support to ‘innovative sculptors’ who ‘demonstrate a commitment to process and sensitivity to materials’ as well as solo exhibition at Standpoint Gallery for an exceptional emerging artist working in sculpture.

The deadline for applications is 24 February at 5pm and this year, the guest selectors include Director of Tate Britain, Penelope Curtis, and renowned British Sculptor, Conrad Shawcross.
