V&A Framing Podcast with Matt Jones
14 January 2014
The V&A’s seminal season of Podcasts turns its focus to the importance of framing from both a conservation and aesthetic perspective for its 15th episode! Glenn Adamson, Head of Research at the V&A is joined by Robert Lambeth, Head of Technical services at the museum, and our very own M.D. Matt Jones.
The specialists discuss how framing choices can bring so much more to the visual experience of a museum. Other podcasts in the series explore; curating contemporary fashion, protecting an artwork from theft and branding a museum. They intend to give listeners an informative look behind the scenes of ‘the world’s greatest museum of art and design’.
This season of podcasts is a must listen for those interested in arts and heritage and is available to download here: www.vam.ac.uk/content/articles/v/v-and-a-podcast-framing/
John Jones is delighted to be the framer of choice for the Victoria and Albert Museum’s world renowned collections.
