Richard Hamilton Exhibition at Tate Modern

John Jones favourite and one of Britain’s most influential artists of the 20th Century, Richard Hamilton, will be given pride of place at the Tate Modern between 13th February – 26th May 2014. The retrospective will be the first of its kind to encompass the full 60 year span of Hamilton’s prolific career, exploring his relationship to painting, photography, television and design, as well as his various collaborations with fellow artists. Fighting off labels pinned to him such as photographer, sculptor, conceptual artist and land artist, Hamish Fulton insisted that it was the experience of walking itself that constituted the artwork, explaining ‘If I do not walk, I cannot make a work of art’, or more simply, ‘no walk, no art’. Sous Les Etoiles Announce Representation of Richard Caldicott

Sous Les Etoiles photographic gallery in New York are pleased to announce they will be representing Richard Caldicott and his highly anticipated solo exhibition of recent photographic works from 13 Feb - 29 Mar 2014. Caldicott is famed for producing minimalist graphic forms and abstract compositions, which challenge analogue processes. He plays with the traditions of photography by applying his own symbolic redefinition, reworking subtle coloured compositions and lines. Read more
