Asian Art in London is an annual event which brings together the capital’s leading Asian art dealers, major auction houses and societies for ten days of exhibitions, auction sales, lectures and panel discussions. Visitors can enjoy a series of evening receptions across London, including the luxurious Gala Party on Tuesday 5th November at the Victoria and Albert Museum. This champagne reception marks the sixteenth year of Asian Art in London and will be celebrated by directors and curators of Asian art from museums worldwide, academic specialists, visitors and collectors. The fair also offers regular tours to participating galleries, introducing attendees to the wealth of Asian art which can be viewed and purchased in London. The fair’s diverse lecture series includes ‘Arts and Crafts of India under the Raj’ and ‘Mapping the Silk Road’, many of which are free to attend! Fair participants include John Jones clients The Fine Art Society, Sam Fogg, Christie’s, Francesca Galloway and Simon Ray amongst many other prominent dealers.
