Art on the Underground - 15 for 150 exhibition at John Jones

John Jones is delighted to showcase 15 for 150 in our Project Space, a landmark collection of limited edition prints marking the 150th anniversary of the world’s first underground transport network. The London tube has transformed the way we think about travelling around a city, and to celebrate this contribution Art on the Underground commissioned 15 prominent international artists to create a poster image of their individual interpretation of the tube.

'The artists selected for the project reflect the diversity and international importance of London and are at all stages of their careers, from the long established to the new and emerging.' Art on the Underground

Artists
Pablo Bronstein, Melissa Gordon, Runa Islam, Idris Khan, Sarah Lucas, Goshka Macuga, Robert Orchardson, Martha Rosler, Nedko Solakov, Frances Stark, Corin Sworn, Wolfgang Tillmans, Gillian Wearing, Lawrence Weiner and Haegue Yang.

John Jones was pleased to support the project and design a series of bespoke framing solutions for this special signed and numbered edition of the prints. Each frame has been created to provide long-term conservation to the artwork whilst also complementing the individual style and colour scheme of the piece.
