Changes to Finsbury Park

John Jones have been proud residents of Finsbury Park for many years and we are delighted to see that the area is in a period of positive change, undergoing some exciting redevelopment! Finsbury Park is home to London’s largest housing regeneration project, with 2000 former council flats being demolished and 4,600 new homes under construction. This £1billion 20 year scheme will take place in Woodbury Park on the banks of the New River and is the brainchild of Hackney council, Berkeley Homes and housing association Genesis. Alongside the new housing, Finsbury Park will also see a new community centre, library, children’s centre, shops and restaurants spring up! Creatives living and working in the area are now benefitting from the brand new Park Theatre which recently opened on Clifton Terrace and John Jones is pleased to be contributing to the regeneration through construction of our brand new Arts Building. This will include workshops, an exhibition space, seminar rooms, accommodation for the University of the Arts and more. Homes and Property have recently identified Finsbury Park as a quality location to invest in new property.
