Patrick Caulfield built a global reputation for his vibrant depictions of modern life which take inspiration from pop art movements. These iconic images transformed the traditional still life genre into something significant to contemporary life, combining the language of sign painting and graphic art with bold colour. Caulfield’s influence can still be seen today in the contemporary work of Julien Opie and in modern graphic design and illustration. John Jones is delighted to have designed a slick framing solution to present a survey of artist’s prints for this new exhibition at Alan Cristea gallery. ‘Prints 1964 – 1999’ is on display 6th June - 13th July and is a must-see for fans of this genre.
