Frieze New York
09 May 2013
This weekend the eyes of the art world will be turning to the big apple for Frieze New York, an exhibition of work from the most forward-thinking galleries across the globe! Visitors can view and collect artwork by over 1000 ground-breaking artists alongside a programme of seminars and panel discussions. Perhaps one of the most beautiful parts of the fair is the Sculpture Park, located beside the impressive waterfront of the East River. Curator Tom Eclles has selected and placed works by both established and emerging artists represented by Frieze New York exhibitors in the 2013 park, which is not to be missed. A new addition to this year’s event is the Frieze New York Education space, which will allow school children and museum groups to further explore the fair through relaxed workshops. The signature ‘Frame’ section of the fair returns once again to showcase the hottest emerging galleries alongside a series of new works specially conceived for Frieze.
