Crouch End Festival 2013

Crouch End Festival 2013

The Crouch End Festival was spawned in 2012 with the aim of bringing together diverse creative professionals to exchange ideas, skills and business ventures. Championing Crouch End as one of THE London villages, the event successfully inspired the community to get involved in local creative activities. The 2013 event is set to be even bigger and better, with over 150 events being hosted at diverse Crouch End venues such as shops, galleries, cafes and bars! Expect everything from art workshops to poetry readings and band performances.

John Jones is delighted to be getting involved this year by hosting an ‘Artists Presentation and Networking Event’ at Hornsey library on Thursday 13th June 18:15 – 20:30pm. This free event invites practising artists working across diverse disciplines to present their work to a group of their peers for 5 minutes each, discussing ideas, intentions and processes. The presentations are followed by a chance to mingle, discuss potential collaborative projects and make exciting new creative contacts in the local area! Each artist presenting is welcome to bring a guest to join in the discussion. All work will be presented digitally and a projector will be provided. If you would like to present your work, or simply attend the event to observe, meet artists and find new inspiration, please email marketing@johnjones.co.uk.

Please visit the Crouch End Festival website for a full list of all activities taking place throughout the week 7th – 16th June.
