Design Museum - Designers in Residence Programme
25 February 2013
The Design Museum’s annual Designers in Residence programme supports emerging designers at the beginning of their careers as they look to find their voice in the industry. Selected designers are given a bursary to create new work in response to a set brief, which will then be displayed at the museum in September 2013 for thousands of visitors to admire. This year’s programme will be based on an ‘exploration of how design in any field can be used to convey, to create, or to reflect a sense of identity’. Designers working across product, furniture, fashion, graphic or interaction are invited to submit their proposals by Thursday 28th February for the chance to participate. This project can provide young talent with a valuable platform from which to launch their careers in design!
