Conservation Study Evening at the Drawing Room - Tuesday 30th October

We are excited to announce that Annika Erikson, our Head of Conservation and Collection Management, has been invited to the Drawing Room to share her expertise on the care and conservation, mounting and framing of artworks on paper. Annika will be offering the latest do’s and don’ts of fine art mounting, framing and caring for artworks on paper, and all attendees are welcome to bring pieces from their own collection that they would like some advice on. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in collecting, seasoned collectors and collection curators to discover more about conserving and protecting their fine art investment. Wine will be served, and the evening will also be an opportunity to view the gallery’s current exhibition of works on paper by Paul Sietsema, an artist with an interest in the ‘legacies of past eras of cultural history and the contextualisation of artefacts, the process of image making and changing conceptions of what constitutes material’.

The event is taking place on Tuesday 30th October 6-8pm. Please email mail@drawingroom.org.uk to attend.
