We have been working with creative membership Love Art London to organise intimate studio visits with some of London’s most exciting and inspiring artistic talent. Our September event will continue the Olympic mania that has swept across the capital with a visit to the studio of Nicola Green, recently commissioned to create an artwork centred on Lord Sebastian Coe. The project has lead to the production of a series of Olympic themed limited edition prints, all framed by John Jones in a unique glowing Quasar Frame! The prints are currently being sold at John Lewis, and Nicola’s original portrait of Seb is being publicly exhibited at the Stadium Suite in the John Lewis' Stratford store, a venue which boasts a spectacular view of the Olympic Park in London.
Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, Nicola’s work has been selected for renowned public collections including The Courtauld Institute of Art, London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. She is perhaps most famous for her series ‘In Seven Days’ based on the 2008 Obama election campaign, and is an artist passionate about telling human stories.
This free exclusive event is taking place in Nicola's private studio in Finsbury Park on Tuesday 25th September 6:30 - 8pm. Email marketing@johnjones.co.uk to attend and learn more about the artist’s work, her career highlights and peek behind the scenes.
