Art Dubai 2013

Art Dubai 2012 enjoyed record attendance figures, welcoming 22,500 UAE-based and international guests, including 75 museum groups. The dates for the 2013 event have been set for 20th – 23rd March, and the fair will once again take place at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. The internationally acclaimed Abraaj Capital Art Prize will continue into its fifth year at the fair, with Murtaza Vali being selected as the guest curator for the award. John Jones are very much looking forward to offering the John Jones Art on Paper Award for the second year, which aims to reward and promote artists pushing the boundaries of this creative medium.  Art Dubai is now accepting proposals from galleries who have been established in the primary market for more than two years and wish to exhibit a stand at the fair. The quality and calibre of the 2012 event leaves a lot to live up to, however as cultural growth in the east continues to evolve at such a rapid pace, John Jones feel confident that Art Dubai 2013 will be the best yet.
