Juliette Losq - Shortlisted for National Open Art Competition

John Jones are pleased to announce that Juliette Losq has been shortlisted for the 15th National Open Art Competition. Her work will be on display at the Minerva Theatre in Chichester until December 29th. Juliette’s shortlisted piece is entitled ‘scumsucker’, and demonstrates the same high quality technical skill which awarded her the prestigious Jerwood Drawing Prize in 2005. The artist’s work has also recently been acquired by the Saatchi Gallery with a view to being shown in one of their future exhibitions, ‘The Power of Paper’. Juliette recently displayed two pieces in the John Jones gallery space as part of our group exhibition ‘Chimera’, and we are delighted for her continued success.
