We are delighted to announce that John Jones, our Chairman and founder of the company, is on the New Year 2012 Honours List to receive an MBE!
Honours are awarded to individuals from all sections of society who have made a significant difference to their community. Following recommendations from prominent artists such as David Hockney,John Jones has been awarded an MBE for his services to the arts, and is extremely proud of his achievements:
‘It was completely unexpected, and I feel truly overwhelmed to have been given this incredible recognition. The main thing I can say is how delighted I am that my children have continued my passion and are building upon what I started. We are completely committed to the presentation and preservation of art and have lots of exciting new plans in place for the future.’ John Jones MBE
John will attend an official investiture organised by the Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood in St. James’s Palace during the next six months to receive his award. From humble beginnings in the 1960’s, our business has grown to encompass a staff of over 90 designers and craftsmen, experts in the conservation and presentation of artwork to the finest museum standards. We have worked with a prestigious list of professional artists, designers, galleries and museums, and are delighted that the hard work of our founder, Mr John Jones, has been recognised and celebrated through this award.
