Elad Lassry - White Cube

John Jones are a huge fan of contemporary artist Elad Lassry. His work in film and photography combines intricate surfaces with an investigation into the nature of perception. This latest collection at the White Cube Gallery showcases new pictures and sculptures at his first solo show in London. His images ask strictly visual questions such as how do objects and textures react to light? How do we perceive surface and substance? These intense images explore how representation and object can co-exist in a single artwork. Elad Lassry was the proud 2007 winner of the Zoo Art Award, sponsored by John Jones, and we are pleased to have seven photographic prints by Lassry in our contemporary collection.
