Briony recently exhibited works at an opening exhibition for the EB&Flow gallery entitled ‘Since Tomorrow’. Her dramatic landscape paintings use an expressive style to reassess the subject as a mechanism for changing and erasing history. We are delighted and excited to hear that she will be showing at the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) Annual Exhibition as it's the highlight of the exhibiting year and features RSA Academicians and selected submissions from leading and emerging artists from across Scotland, as well as a number of specially invited artists and architects. The theme of this year’s show is Transformation – Documenting the Artists’ Practise from Inspiration to Creation. Focussing on the importance of preparatory work, the exhibition will include sketches, work books and preliminary drawings amongst other material, to document the transformative journey from initial idea through to realised work. The exhibition will provide an insight into the creative development of an artist's work, and will be an educative and involving experience.
