A Handful of Gems Pop Up Shop

Ali Miller is a London based artist who works from home, literally, conceptually, and metaphorically. For her Christmas Pop-up Shop at John Jones, Ali has created an extraordinary range of work including ceramics, screen-printed cotton bags and cushions, greetings cards and original artworks, produced from her home, to enhance others. Drawing on personal memory, Ali sources materials which trace her family memories, heritage and history, and new life is restored into forgotten and discarded household objects, transforming them into contemporary, timeless pieces.
