The John Jones installation team are delighted to have installed a diverse collection of artwork in a private apartment in West London, with art and accessory consultation from Tara Bernerd & Partners. Our team were commissioned to work with the interior design professionals to re-think the presentation and display of works by artists such as Andy Warhol and Guido Mocafico, ensuring that the images worked harmoniously with the layout and atmosphere of each room. One aspect of this installation project included designing the format of a bold and dynamic collection of 45 vinyl records. The individual records were meticulously measured in a 9 x 5 arrangement, and hung with the utmost care and precision to ensure the pieces are both protected and presented to their maximum potential.
The John Jones team framed this collection using optimum perspex display boxes, a minimal and modern style that presented the design and colours of the records to their maximum potential. In contrast, the work by Guido Mocafico was framed with an ornate gilded design, finished with low reflective UV glazing to provide long-term protection to the artwork. The John Jones installation team carefully considered the composition, colour and balance of Tara Bernerd’s collection to create a dramatic and visually appealing space.
