Nigel Cooke’s work has been exhibited at international galleries such as Tate Britain, MoMA and the Guggenheim. He shows with Modern Art in London. Working to a large scale, Nigel Cooke plays with the history and relevance of painting, exploring multiple themes such as representation, technique, abstraction, fantasy and realism. The large format of the work requires a strong and stable support and Nigel’s studio opts for the ultimate in stability with our welded aluminium stretchers. A neat plywood baton on the reverse provides a base to attach and stretch the linen surface.
