Newcastle based urban artist HUSH is well known for his passionate paintings inspired by Manga. This solo exhibition entitled Fatales expands on the Japanese female form to explore modern day European seductresses.

Our Artist Surfaces team were delighted to re-stretch the artist’s work onto museum quality stretcher bars for display in this exciting exhibition. Each stretcher is hand-made from conservation grade tulip wood, a low emission hard wood with very few knots. This material is kiln-dried to remove moisture, creating a durable, strong canvas stretcher support with a low risk of splitting when nailed or stapled. Our canvas stretching service is carried out in-house by professional artwork stretching technicians for a quick, hassle-free service.

"I've actually come to expect attention to detail, consistent quality, and an amazing looking stretched canvas when working with John Jones. It's a prerequisite. The canvas pieces just have that sharpness and weight about them that evoke quality" Hush
