The John Jones team were delighted to frame 80 works of art for House of Illustrations inaugural exhibition in a variety of different styles. A selection of the illustrations appear to float in their bespoke frames with museum paper tab fixings to highlight the papers fragility. Others are fixed using photo corners and covered with a white rising acid free paper mount board to create a clean finish. The frames were run in a simplistic square profile in both solid conservation grade oak and poplar. They were finished in either a light lacquer wax to bring out the grain or sprayed white. These minimal frames not only preserve the artwork to the best possible standards but they let them speak for themselves.
