House of Illustration auction - Sothebys 2010

As featured in a BBC interview with Quentin Blake on the art of illustration we were delighted to support 'The House of illustration' for a second year running. The works were exhibited prior to an auction in the Colonnade Gallery at Sotheby’s, alongside pieces from private collections by Beatrix Potter, E.H. Shepard, Edmund Dulac and Pauline Baynes which formed a special ‘Art of Illustration’ exhibition.

“John Jones have beeen generous enough to support the House of Illustration auction at Sothebys in 2010. Their frames and service are impeccable and it is partly thanks to their reputation that the illustrations sold so well.”
