Debbie Boon

Debbie excels in vivid portraiture, with clients travelling from all over the UK to commission her work.

Debbie has had large work commissioned in a variety of commercial interiors including Oliver Sweeney’s flagship Bond Street store and also a series of six spectacular canvases for Michelin starred Chef, Michael Caines, at his signature restaurant in The Royal Clarence Hotel, Exeter.

Most recently Debbie has been commissioned to paint a large canvas for the new Catmose College building in Oakham,Rutland. With her signature use of colour and texture depicting the variety and energy of college life, the piece will create asignificant impact by complimenting and contrasting with the unashamedly functional, modernist interior.

The canvases we produce for Debbie are run at our Museum Standard 1 ¼” stretcher bar profile which is ideal for painting in large format. We supply the canvases with 5 interlocking cross bars to provide even support throughout the structure. They are stretched on our London premises using a heavy but regular weave cotton duck which is ideal for taking multiple layers of oil, acrylic and gouache and impasto relief.
