AXA ART Insurance
Having recently moved into a new corporate office space, AXA ART commissioned John Jones to produce three bespoke framed ‘signatures’ to display outside each of their meeting rooms. To reflect the nature of their business and the creative clients they collaborate with, the company chose to name each meeting space after an established and internationally recognised artist, selecting Hockney, Hepworth and Hogarth. Each design is based on the written signatures of these ground-breaking artists, and the John Jones team have framed each piece in a style and colour scheme to reflect the artist’s work. The Hockney signature has been presented within a contemporary square profile design, finished with an eye-catching red spray to reflect the bold colours and contemporary themes of his work, whilst the Hogarth signature is presented within a classical frame moulding in black and rich gold colourings, linking to the nature of this master’s creative practice.
These delicate frames serve a practical and logistical purpose as signs, and also provide the corporate environment with an injection of colour, creativity and personality. John Jones share the same commitment to the protection and preservation of works of art as AXA ART, and were delighted to collaborate with the company on this custom framing project.
AXA ART specialises in the insurance of high value home contents and buildings, art, collectables and musical instruments and caters for private collectors, dealers, museums and exhibitions both in the UK and internationally.
