Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soup Can - Display Case

The John Jones team were delighted when asked to design an innovative display solution to house four iconic Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soup Can’s for a private collector’s home.

John Jones Design Consultants produced a sleek, minimalist Perspex display box that highlights the bright colours of the labels whilst having many conservation benefits. The Perspex protects against ultra violet light present in both natural and artificial light to prevent colour fade, yellowing, bleaching and the darkening of certain pigments caused by long term exposure. It also creates a barrier against airborne pollutants which can cause surface damage over time. The MDF Ecologique base looks and provides a rigid support like regular MDF but it doesn’t contain the Formaldehyde which causes yellowing of an artworks surface after long term exposure to the emissions the chemical releases.
