When we moved to our Finsbury Park site over 20 years ago we had no idea that one day we’d be developing it into a brand new state of the art facility to house our design and conservation studios, workshops and project space. At the time the buildings felt huge with so much more space than we needed. However one thing led to another and before we knew it we were reorganising to make space for new departments – gilding, metalwork, Perspex, dry mounting – the business kept growing!

We don’t plan to get much bigger but we are delighted to finally be announcing the start of our new building which is due for completion in early 2014. We’ll be able to humidity and temperature control the entire building and increase the size of our conservation studio. Based on a traditional Clerkenwell warehouse, the top floor will have fantastic views across Finsbury Park.

Once our building is complete, our development Partners, Spiritbond will then be developing student accommodation for University of the Arts London.
