Introduction

Art is important to everyone at John Jones. Not just because its the business that we're in, but because we're constantly challenged by it - artists give us a different insight to the world and this stretches our imaginations, impacts our way of thinking and adds to our enjoyment of life.

We've always connected different clients with each other - artists with collectors, collectors with galleries, interior designers to art consultants... so it seemed like a natural progression for us to set up a small non commercial exhibition space at John Jones, to support and showcase unrepresented artists. We also support a couple of art awards, invite artists to spend time in residency with us, organise tours of artist studios, have a contemporary art collection, organise pop up artist shops at JJ and build artist staircases at the V&A. And now we have plans for a new Arts Building and creative quarter in Finsbury Park...
