Our Heritage
John Jones himself first entered into the fine-art industry during the 1960s. He quickly discovered that he had an aptitude for making high-quality picture frames to order, and it was not long before he was working closely with artists such as Francis Bacon and David Hockney to design frames specifically to complement their work.
The company is family-owned and family-run, and has grown to encompass a highly skilled team of 90 craftspeople and designers, whose expertise enables us to make virtually any kind of frame including welded aluminium and brass, Perspex, and timber frames from environmentally sustainable forests, entirely at our 38,000sq ft north London workshop.

Our complementary fine art services provide a complete in house service delivering outstanding results by supporting the key stages of an artwork from its construction to its presentation, documentation and reproduction.

We are the preferred partners for key contemporary and international galleries, high profile artists, private and corporate collectors & major institutions. We also collaborate on a regular basis with Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and other leading auction houses.
